Circular basket on a tall foot, made of colourful coiled raffia. Colours include red, black, green and yellow which alternate in bands with white cross motifs on the interior. Used to serve and store food or store frankincense.

- Part of a donation of objects by Universal Travel and Tourism, Sanaa, to Arts Worldwide UK for its 1987 Yemen Festival and subsequently presented to the BM's Dept of Ethnography (now AOA) after the festival. Used as part of the handling collection at the Museum of Mankind. Transferred to the Dept of the Middle East in 2012 on account of its Yemeni provenance.
