- Description

Woven Afghan war rug with a beige ground, navy and orange borders and beige tassels. Predominant colours include shades of pink, green, blue and brown. The main design features a building, possibly a mosque with two tower minarets, and a large vase with flowers. Also included are stylised felines, quadrupeds (gazelles and horses?) and a convoy of military vehicles. A border of multi-coloured flowers frame the whole design. Apart from the vehicles and a three helicopters, there is very little else on the rug connected to war.
