Gold pendant; made with a grooved cotton-reel at the top, with thicker wire at each end attached to a square cloison holding loop-in-loop gold strands ending in a tight cluster of seventeen hollow ovoid acorn-like buds (each made in two punched halves), attached with shallow hollow drum-shaped beads with short swollen bodies and beaded collars at the top and bottom.

Although previously identified as an earring, it appears to be too heavy for this function and the fitting at the top suggests that it had originally been strung as a pendant.
