Six men gathered in a garden; single-page tinted drawing mounted in a forty-leave album of calligraphy and painting. Recreational scene with the central figure (slighly elevated and leaning against a tree) raising his hand slightly to engage the others in conversation/teaching. All men wear turbans and long robes tied at the waist by a sash. Two books lie on the ground directly in front. Trees and a wisps of cloud decorate the background. Thin blue floral border.
Ink, opaque watercolour and gold on paper. Album has lacquered covers decorated with a central flower design and floral border. Concertina-style (accordian-style) binding. Reads right to left.
