Portrait of a royal companion, Aqa Larees; painting mounted onto an album folio, B side. Figure is standing looking to left of page, holding his hands clasped before him. He has a moustache and stubble on his chin and wears a hat with a long tail that rises high above his head and trails down his back. Découpage cypresses to either side of the portrait. Inscribed. Album contains sixty folios with fifty-nine paintings of figures, and additional découpages, including floral and vegetal decoration in some margins.
Ink and opaque watercolour, with découpage on paper. Album covered with green leather.
