Painting (watercolour). Folio 41 from an album showing Turkish costume. A woman of Kayserie. Wearing a round red 'pill-box' hat (takke) with a huge circular red disk on top. Cerise entari with ermine collar, short sleeves and edging. Yellow tunic, red slippers, red and white socks. White baggy trousers (şalvar), white robe with flower pattern round the hem.
