- Description

Copper alloy kohl-bottle: a cast bottle in the shape of a woman with clasped hands (although the fingers are not delineated) on her chest below her breasts. Her hair is protruding at the rear, and is lightly incised. Her ears are perforated to hold earrings, now missing. There are a pair of crossed lines resembling straps across the back and extending over the shoulders to cross for a second time between the breasts. Seven concentric ridges can be seen above the base. There is a circular hollow on the underside of the base. This bottle was originally used to contain make-up.
