Detached manuscript page from the Matla al-Anwar of Amir Khosrau Dihlavi. Prince and a dying youth with a distraught lady beside him. Ten figures and three horses appear within the illustration. Scene takes place amidst a rocky terrain. Four small columns of text appear at the bottom and top of illustration. Calligraphy on verso. Opaque watercolours and ink on paper.
