Muḥammad ʿAadil Sháh; single-page painting on a detached album folio. Portrait of a nobleman identified as Muḥammad ʿAadil Sháh, holding a flower in his right hand and a fruit in his left hand. He is wearing a bejewelled 'sarpech' (turban ornament), a double string of pearls and a medallion with a rectangular, central emerald framed by red stones, possibly spinels. The portrait is framed by a clear border with floral gilded decoration. No inscription.
Ink, opaque watercolour and gold on paper.
