Blue glazed pottery jar; wheel-thrown; yellow fabric covered on interior and exterior above base with a lightly crackled light blue glaze, almost entirely weathered to white colour but darker on interior; glaze slightly thicker below rim bulge suggesting that the vessel may have been fired in an upright position; semi-flat base; elongated pear-shaped body with tall neck; bulge below slightly inverted rim; lightly incised line around the body immediately below the handle junction; single handle, originally lightly bilobed, now missing.
