Large coil-built painted pottery storage jar; rounded base; everted rim; low horizontal ledge halfway down the shoulder separating painted decoration above from wavy and horizontal painted and shallow incised decoration below; the incised decoration consists of two rows of horizontal lines alternating with two rows of wavy lines, all executed with a blunt tool, perhaps a wooden spatula; the painted decoration consists of a pair of wavy lines bordered with two pairs of horizontal lines (below the ridge), and a more complex composition including large stylised birds with outstretched wings, feeding birds seen in profile, and "standard" motifs (above).
