Large, painted pottery jar; dull brown-black decoration painted around shoulder and upper body consisting of horizontal stripes, occasionally framing bands of diagonal strokes, on the shoulder, and similar stripes framing a design of a pair of highly stylised birds with stretched wings, flanked by butterfly-like motifs.
