A na'than, one who chants a poem in praise of the Prophet, wearing a green kaftan, brown robe, red scarf, yellow boots and white turban with a brown cap. One hand raised, the other holding a book. Inscribed. Album contains 124 paintings of Turkish sultans and court officials.
Ink and opaque watercolour on paper. Album bound in green leather with pages of Persian paper, according to inscription. Page edges gilded with gold.
