Grand vizier; single-page painting mounted on album folio. Sadrazam (or vezir-i azam), the Grand Vizier, wearing an ermine-lined brown kaftan, orange robe with silver design, yellow shoes and a high white turban. Inscribed. Album contains 124 paintings of Turkish sultans and court officials.
Ink and opaque watercolour on paper. Album bound in green leather with pages of Persian paper, according to inscription. Page edges gilded with gold.
