Portrait of Jahangir. Single-page painting mounted on a detached album folio. Jahangir as an old man with a nobleman and tame lion. Set against grassy landscape with a colourful but ominous sky. Framed by three concentric borders, each in turn outlined with narrower lines; the narrower borders are illuminated with abstract vegetal and geometric designs in gold, while the wide central border depicts wild animals in a densely foliated landscape.
