A nobleman hunting a tiger; single-page tinted drawing mounted in an album. Three figures, one armed with bow and arrow, mounted on an elephant and one armed figure mounted on a buffalo hunting a tiger crouched amid tall grass. Tents and a larger hunting party carrying tall spears can be seen over the hills in the background. Another group of figures stands underneath a ridge of trees at right centre edge. Dark clouds across the sky. Inscribed. Album contains 60 Indian drawings and paintings.
Ink and wash on paper. Album bound in black leather with pages of European paper, watermarked 1799.
