Gold armlet or torc: spiral, the whole surface transversely ribbed apart from the roaring lion's head terminals which are decorated on the upper surface with inlaid stones to represent the manes; the rest of the portion, once inlaid, is cut out into larger cells, the divisions between which are reserved in the metal, and the series terminating in a small drop-shaped cavity; nearest the neck these larger cells are rectangular, the remainder being arranged on either side of a median ridge and terminating in volutes.
