Description
Hematite cylinder seal; the suppliant goddess and the robed king with an animal offering (gazelle?) face the ascending sun god who rests his foot on a trapezoidal mountain under a star-disc and crescent; behind him a kilted priest, stands on a panelled dais and holds a frond. There are traces of an erased inscription over which the figure of a nude goddess has been cut. In the field in front of the suppliant goddess, a human head, facing right has been added.
