Description
Clay tablet, letter from Tušratta of Mitanni to Amenophis III acknowledging friendly letters and announcing despatch of gifts, also asking for large quantity of gold to be sent as payment for expenses of his grandfather in sending gifts to the king. Also requests a gift in return for daughter, whom Amenophis had married; 85 lines divided into 13 paragraphs; the writing is clear and distinct.
