The object was sent for moulding in the Cast Shop in 1965 (returned 25 September), again on 9 and 23 January 1967 and on a further occasion by the Cast Service between 26 November 1974 and 3 January 1975 (Objects to Lab, 6 May 1958-31 December 1970; WAA, 'Objects to Lab' book). The cast was commercially available (listed in the BM Facsimile Service, Catalogue of Replicas),
