Drawn glass rod; square section cane; opaque red glass; minute central hole runs the length of the cane; probably drawn out of the crucible with a tubular rod and then given square shape; small bubble at the centre of the core; fine striations along the surfaces from the process of drawing in a hot state; weathered to greenish colour.
