- Hand written description on the record card thus:
"Plate with eleven lines of raised letters in Himyaritic. At top row of dentils. Purport: Dedicated by Hariamat and his brothers and nephews of the tribe of Arfat, to Ilmakkah of Hirran in gratitude for past preservation, and praying for good harvest, and the favour of their masters, tribe of Marthad".

- This group "were discovered at Amran, near San'a, in or before the year 1855" (S. Birch, 'Inscriptions in the Himyaritic character now deposited in the British Museum, chiefly discovered in South Arabia', London 1863).
