Description
Hematite cylinder seal; the suppliant goddess (with necklace counterweight) and the robed king with an animal offering face the Sun god who is bearded and wears a flounced robe, who sits on a mountain-throne on a dais and rests his feet on a couchant human-headed bull (full-face), and who holds a saw-toothed blade beneath the sun-disc and crescent. Line border round the bottom of the seal. There is a dog, advancing towards the left, beneath the inscription panel. Note the chevron flounces of the robes worn by the god and goddess.
