Description
Streaked pink and white chalcedony cylinder seal; the main scene shows a half naked female attendant or goddess, with a bell-shaped object in her hand and wearing an open skirt, fanning a seated god or king (with sword in right hand?) who drinks through a tube from a pot on a stand; there are also two smaller scenes; above, a kneeling archer shoots a reclining gazelle; below, a reclining goat attacked by a griffin; appears to have been damaged by heat; fractured.
