- Curator's comments
- Although registered as from Babylon, this is likely to be an early 19thC error reflecting confusion between the remains of the ziggurat at Aqar Quf, where the preservation of such reeds is excellent, and the site of Babylon, where organics are not usually well preserved from antiquity.
