Description
Copper alloy votive plaque with inscription: in the form of an amulet, with a lug for suspension at the top and traces of corroded wire surviving in the hole through the lug. The figures of four deities, including Marduk, who is holding a necklace and standing on a dragon, and Nabu, holding a stylus, are incised above the inscription, a dedication to Nabu. Their position is reminiscent of the seal impressions on Neo-Assyrian conveyance texts and dedication texts.
