The funeral of Charles III of Lorraine, plate 1 (bottom part): at centre, ambassadors approaching to bless Charles III's sarcophagus, which is covered by an embroidered drapery, surrounded by six monumental candlesticks, and set in a room whose walls are covered with tapestries; in the foreground seven gentlemen and chancellors, all wearing hoods, seated on a bench, on the left servants also wearing hoods seated along the wall, in the background monks seated on two benches and praying. 1610/11
