- Acquisition notes
- This print has been identified with the object listed in the 1837 inventory as 'The Fair at Florence' and, as a consequence, has been numbered X,4.169. This, however, remains a speculation based on the fact that this was the only print corresponding to said description with a U number. Such a speculation could not be confirmed by looking at evidences on the verso of the print, as the sheet has been backed with thick paper, and there is no visible evidence of its provenance. Its previous number was 1980,U.3.
