Curator's comments
Another two impressions exist in P&D W.1-97 and 1872,10.12.3742. This impression is on blue paper. No surviving work by Parmigianino coresponds exactly to this print but the composition clearly derived from him. See throughout A.E.Popham, Catalogue of the Drawings of Parmigianino, London, 1971, 3 vols.
