- This print reproduces a painting from the collection of the Walters Art Gallery, Baltimore, USA. The attribution is debated, some rejecting the possibity of giving even the design to Raphael (see Dussler, 'Raphael: A Critical Catalogue', 1971, page 56), while others accept Raphael's role in the invention of the composition but question his participation in the execution of the painting (see Jürg Meyer zur Capellen, 'Raphael: A Critical Catalogue of His Paintings', vol. II, 2005, cat.A1).
