- This is second state before the poem in the lower margin, for another impression see J,28.2. In a later state the margin is occupied by a eulogistic poem by Joost van den Vondel, for impressions of this state in BM collection see 1973,U.1553 and 1868,0822.723. The print was used as an illustration to an edition of Jan de Vos's poems published in 1662 ('Gedichten', published by J. Lescaille, Amsterdam, 1662). For a copy in reverse by Andries van Buysen see 1928,0313.116.
