- Curator's comments
- This print, with seven others, was formerly attributed to Lucas van Uden, but nowadays it is generally accepted that they were etched by Bonnecroy whose name also appears on the prints. For the prints by Bonnecroy but formerly attributed to Lucas van Uden, see S.2846-2850, S.2852 and S.2855-2856. These seven prints have also been published by Frans van den Wyngaerde as a series of eight, by adding an etching made by Lucas van Uden (S.2851)
