- Curator's comments
- A copy of a design for glass, probably a roundel. Possibly the return of the Prodigal Son or the Arrival of Lazarus at the house of Dives.
It is related to a stained glass roundel, now in an American private collection, and possibly originated from a workshop in Leiden, perhaps Master of 1527; see Tim Husbands, Corpus Vitrearum Checklist, 1991, p.51. [information from Kees Berserik, Corpus Vitrearum The Netherlands].
