Curator's comments
This is one from a series of twenty, for comment see R,5.21. For another impression of this plate see also 1891,0414.1281. This print is the only one in the series by Bolswert after Rubens' landscapes to bear a date. After the painting by Rubens in the Musée du Louvre, Paris, inv.no.1816. For a copy in reverse see 1939,0130.1.86 and 1891,0414.1283.
