Acquisition notes
At a later date the Cracherode initials have been crossed out in pen an ink, presumably because the publication line is dated May 1803, after Cracherode's death. It is therefore likely that this print arrived in the BM after 1803, but the stamp and initials are certainly those of Philipe in 1810, who had presumably become muddled as this mezzotint is similar to many prints from Cracherode's bequest.
