Traditionally attributed to Gaudenzio Ferrari and described as such by both Passavant and Waagen. Popham and Pouncey suggested that it was rather by some pupil of Boccaccino, 'conceivably Garofalo during his Cremonese apprenticeship'. Alessandro Ballarin argues in favour of this being by Niccolò Pisano (1470-?1538), a Pisan-born artist who worked in Ferrara for Alfonso d'Este.

The kneeling figure on the r., the donor, is shown to be a bishop or abbot by the mitre on the ground before him. In the middle distance Judas talks to an elderly Jew, who is accompanied by several soldiers. Jerusalem is represented in the distance.
Traditionally ascribed to Gaudenzio Ferrari. The type of the central apostle, the drapery, and the figures in the middle distance combine to suggest as the author, if not Boccaccino himself, then one of his pupils (conceivably Garofalo during his Cremonese apprenticeship) or else some Cremonese artist under the master's influence.
