- For a description and history of the series, see 1880,0710.713 (1880,0710.713 to 719 being a set of the first seven plates of the series, which have individual entries on the database).
This copy has bound in at the end the wrappers for the first three parts in which the text and plates were delivered to subscribers. It is not clear who was responsible for the hand-colouring.
For a second bound set which has eleven rather than seven plates, see 1865,0114.1283 to 1293.
