Satire on fashion: a lady with absurdly high coiffure enters a grand room alarming a gentleman, a parrot, a cat and a small dog; as the man leaps up he knocks over a table so that a scroll lettered 'Lecture upon Heads' (by George Stevens, see BM Satires 4113, BL 13.E.E.b.192/1); on the wall behind is a picture of the peak of Tenerife and above the door, a picture of 'The Geese watching the Capitol'. 2 April 1771
