The Hunt: the goddess Diana, personifying the hunt, is seated before a tree at centre, holding a spear and a hooded falcon; a hunting horn is tied to her waist, an owl perches upon a stake before her, and at her feet lies a plethora of hunting tools; beyond, to the left, hunters on horseback and a pack of hounds chase rabbits, deer and boar, while to the right men fish along a river, leading into the distance, while other hunters shoot birds with bows and arrows. 1597
