- A letter from Willement accompanies this print, dated May 21 1835. It reads:
"Dear Sir / I do not know whether the trustees trouble themselves about such things but if the copy of the Altar Window in St Dunstan's Church Fleet St which I send with this is likely to be acceptable will you do me the favour to present it, for the British Museum. / I am Dear Sir Most Faithfully yours / Willement". At the bottom "Sir Henry Ellis K. H.".
