George III on horseback in profile to left, in military uniform with cocked hat, right hand raised gesturing towards the lines of cavalry riding past in review to left, looking back towards the Duke of York and Generals Fawcett and Dundas, mounted behind him, with the Prince of Wales beside him raising his sabre in right hand, and his equerry Major Goldsworthy standing next to the king's horse, Adonis; after Beechey; touched proof of the second plate labelled 'second'. 1799

- Ward made a first, identical, plate of this subject (Frankau 40): Frankau suggests that this may have been because the first plate was retouched by a 'very bad engraver', according to an annotation in the engraver's hand on the seventh proof of the first plate.
