Of this plate, Woods says that the section of the architrave in Fig. 1 is slightly different to that published already and that both sketches exist, evidently by Revett. He adds that he has been able to make corrections and supply the ornaments under the flowers, by making use of Elgin's collection, with his permission. He put together the plan of part of the ceiling of the portico (Fig. 9) from detailed sketches and memoranda.
