Curator's comments
The print has the B in ink that was put on prints transferred in 1814 to P&D from the Library from the Bagford volumes. Annotations on the verso prove that this was part of that transfer. See Gg,4V.54 for another impression (though of an earlier state before extra hatching in the background) of the same print that was also transferred from the Bagford collection in 1814. The oriignal register number has been lost, and it cannot be found in the old register. The print has therefore been allocated the number Gg.4V.54+. (AVG)
