Frontispiece to Richard Perrinchief, "The Syracusan Tyrant, or the Life of Agathocles, With some Reflexions on the practice of our Modern Usurpers": Cromwell wearing armour stands between Perfidy who holds a dagger concealed beneath his robe and Cruelty who is naked apart from a small cloak and holds a burning brand. These two hold a wreath of twined serpents about Cromwell's head. In the background, a ruined landscape with buildings in flames. 1661
