A Dutch broadside on Titus Oates and seven Jesuits priests who were executed in 1679 on his evidence, with accounts of his life and his public punishment in London on 26 May 1685; with an engraving showing in the centre Titus Oates in the pillory, surrounded by seven oval portraits of Jesuit martyrs shown with nooses around their necks and knives in their chests, at the bottom an urban scene with a crowded open space where Oates is being whipped with birches at the cart's tail; with engraved inscriptions, and with Dutch, French, and Latin letterpress titles and texts in two columns, each letterpress column framed at three sides with a border of type ornaments.
