- Both sides of the sheet are displayed in the Crowle Pennant. Inscribed in pen below the side with letterpress only is the following note:
"J. Foxe's 'Actes & Monuments' printed by John Daye, London, 1576, fol. p. 774. The cat by I.F., after H. Holbein, is on p. 773, the first page of the second volume. In the 1570 ed. it is on p. 922, and has 'eight'."
Hind however tells us this print is from Edward Halle's 'Chronicle' (1548). See Hind, p.5 and plate 8.
