- This design was probably made for metalwork. Valerie Taylor (2003) has noted that it was used in a fresco by Guilio Romano in the 'The Wedding Banquet of Cupid and Psyche' from the Credenza of the Sala di Psyche, Palazzo Te, Mantua.
