Frontispiece to Molière's 'Le Cocu Imaginaire', in John Watts' edition of 'Select Comedies of Mr. de Molière' (1732); Sganarelle shaking his fist and making the sign of a cuckold's horns at his forehead, as he comes upon his wife admiring a portrait of a young man which she has just found on the ground, with a bounding dog in the left foreground; after 'Scene 6' erased.

Watts' publication was a French-English edition, in 8 volumes, with a frontispiece to each play. An advertisement for the sixth volume mentioning plates by Hogarth, Coypel, Dandridge and Hamilton, appeared in the 'Grub-street Journal' for 19 October 1732. Further editions appeared in 1739 and 1748.
