C,2.699: Admission ticket, "Parliament Street Westminster / This ticket admits one person to a view of the various arts & natural productions of a young female artist", at top a vignette of a woman bowing before a goddess in the clouds holding laurel leaf; a temple on mount in background, motto on banner at bottom "Liberality Rewarding Genius". Printed in red ink
C,2.700: Ticket, "Panharmonicon" on banner over lyre surmounted by head of young boy, and "Admit the Bearer", with stamp "JJG" and signature of J.J.Garky.
C,2.701: Admission ticket (to a spa/baths?); a country house set in gardens, with couples promenading or seated at garden table in front; on front of house "Neat Wines", and at bottom of view "Villa Gardens", and in lower margin "Hib / Bath / Admission Ticket". Dated by Banks 1795.
C,2.702: Admission ticket, "MDCCLXIV Exhibition of Polite Arts, from VII in the Morning till XI. Wednesdays excepted. Admit one person", lettering on rectangular plaque held by putti in sculptor's studio. Printed in red and black ink.
C,2.703: The same design as C,2.702, with altered lettering "MDCCLXIII Exhibition of Polite Arts, from VII in the morning, till XII at Noon". Printed in black.
C,2.704: Ticket to a "Lecture on Chromatometry by Jas. Sowerby, F.L.S. / No.2, Mead Place, Lambeth. Admittance 5s", lettering within geometric patterned border. Dated by Banks Dec. 12. 1808.
C,2.705: Admission ticket, "Admit the bearer and company to the View of Pictures recently imported; King Street St James's Square", within architectural frame with garlands and half length female statues. Dated by Banks 1789.
C,2.706: Admission ticket, "[Free Admission for Sir Joseph Banks Bart & Company to the Exhibition of Italian Pictures at the Great Rooms, late ROyal Academy No.125, Pall Mall, until the 23d of Feby 1790]", in patterned frame. "Strongitharm Pall Mall Sc".
C,2.707: Ticket of the same design as C,2.705, with lettering "Admit Bearer and Company to the private show of [pictures, Wednesday & Thursday 5 & 6 May] at the Auction Room in King Street St James's Square", at bottom "Hall sc Russel Str Blomsbury". Printed in red and black ink. Dated by Banks 1779.
C,2.708: Ticket of the same design as C,2.705, with lettering "The Private VIew of Mr [John] Bertels's Pictures, at the Auction Room in King Street St James's Square will be on Wednesday & Thursday 21st & 22d of May." Dated by Banks 1783.
C,2.709: Ticket, "This Ticket will admit [Mrs Finch & Company] to view the European Museum, or Universal Repository for the Fine Arts, in King Street, St James's Square, every day of public exhibition, until the 2d of February, 1793. J. Wilson Manager", red letterpress printed within engraved frame of palm leaves, clouds, and putti. "Skelton sc 23 Hay Market".
C,2.710: The same ticket as C,2.709, with altered text, "Free admission for [Sir John St Aubyn & Compy] to view the European Museum, King Street, St James's Square, every day during the grand spring exhibition, which will continue until the latter end of June 1792".

C,2.698: The collection was presumably that of the 2nd Earl Harrington who had died on 1st April 1779.
C,2.708: This sale evidently followed another sale of 'Pictures 'lately imported by Mr Bertels from Brussels' held on 8 May 1783 and following days at the Auction Room in King Street (for catalogue see Lugt, Inventaire; title page reproduced in C. Gould, 'Marketing Art in the British Isles', p.109)
