C,2.1143: Note by Banks, "[At the Cutlers Feast at Sheffield theirs is always an anniversary sermon preached and one year the clergyman took the following text. Ezra Chap. I the latter part of verse 9 nine and twenty knives. At the dinner three new knives and three new forks are placed before each person]".
C,2.1144: Ticket "This ticket admits one person to dine with the right honble Robt Peckham Lord Mayor on Monday the 10th of Novr 1783 at Guildhall, Barnd Turner & Thos Skinner Esqrs Sheriffs", in oval with heavy garlands at top, and shield with cross and ribbon.
C,2.1145: Ticket, "This ticket admits one person to dine at Guildhall with the Right Honourable Samuel Plumbe, Lord Mayor, John Burnell & Henry Kitchin Esqrs Sheriffs on Monday 9th Novr 1778 at 2 o'Clock", in frame of laurel topped by bushell of wheat, with laurel branches, and urns on pedestals to either side, a sword and sceptre below. Printed in green ink. Inscribed "[John Burrell / Sam Plumbe / Hen Kitchin]".
